檜原村とクマに関する安心のお知らせ

ホテルTHEATER1が位置する東京都・檜原村は、東京都唯一の村として豊かな自然が残る地域です。

そのため、お客様より「クマが心配です」というお問い合わせをいただくことがございます。

しかし、この地域ではクマの出没はまれであり、檜原村の長い歴史の中で、人がクマに襲われた事例は一度もございません。

檜原村では、サルによる農作物被害を防ぐため柿や栗など実のなる木を減らす取り組みが行われています。

この環境要因により、出没そのものが起こりにくい土地となっています。

また、当ホテルの5000坪の敷地内でクマが目撃されたことも、糞などが落ちていたこともございません。

どうぞご安心いただき、自然の中での滞在を心ゆくまでお楽しみください。

※ご予約内容確認のメールを必ずご確認くださいませ。当ホテルの位置情報が記載されております。万一届かない場合は迷惑メールフォルダをご確認の上、大変お手数ですが［info@theater1.tokyo］までメールにてご連絡くださいませ。


②現地スタッフ立会のもとチェックインをしていただきます。

※現地スタッフはホテルの上部道路を挟んで山側に数分のところに常駐しております。ご滞在中に御用の際はフロントまでご連絡をいただければスタッフがお伺いします。


③お食事はお持ち込みのBBQや室内キッチン、またはオプションのお食事となります。客室内のミニバーもご自由にお召し上がりいただけます。

※ミニバー等現地でのサービスはチェックアウト時にご清算頂きます。

※BBQグリルや調理器具、調味料を無料でお貸し出ししております。

※オプションのお食事は、ご予約ページまたは確認メールのリンクから1週間前までにご注文くださいませ。


④翌朝10:55にスタッフがチェックアウトに伺います。

A Reassuring Notice About Hinohara Village and Bears

Hinohara Village in Tokyo, where HOTEL THEATER1 is located, is the only remaining village in Tokyo and is blessed with abundant nature.

Because of this, we occasionally receive inquiries from guests who are concerned about bears.

However, bear sightings in this area are extremely rare, and in the long history of Hinohara Village, there has never been a single case of a person being attacked by a bear.

Hinohara Village has also been working to reduce fruit-bearing trees such as persimmon and chestnut trees in order to prevent crop damage caused by monkeys.

Due to these environmental factors, it is a land where bear appearances themselves are unlikely.

Additionally, within our hotel’s expansive 5,000-tsubo (approximately 16,500 m²) grounds, there have been no bear sightings nor any traces such as droppings.

Please rest assured and enjoy your stay to the fullest in the heart of nature.

From reservation to check-out

① Make a reservation through the reservation page.

*Please be sure to check your reservation confirmation e-mail. The location of our hotel is listed in the e-mail. If you did not receive it, please check your spam folder and contact us by e-mail at [info@theater1.tokyo].


②You will be asked to check in with the hotel staff in attendance.

*Hotel staff is stationed a few minutes away on the mountain side across the upper road from the hotel. If you need anything during your stay, please contact the front desk and our staff will assist you.


③ Meals can be brought in on your own for BBQ or in-room kitchen, or you may select our optional meal. An in-room minibar is also available at your disposal.

*Services on site, such as mini-bar, etc., will be charged upon check-out.*We provide BBQ grills, cooking utensils, and seasonings for free.*Please order optional meals at least one week in advance from the reservation page or the link in the confirmation e-mail.


④Our staff will be there at 10:55 the next morning for check-out.

Please feel free to ask us to show you around the neighborhood after check-out.

We are pleased to introduce a Finnish KIRAMI hot tub from Sastamala at THEATER1. This elegant "open-air wood-fired bath" offers the warmth of wood with a refined Nordic design. The water used is the famous "Gozensama Spring Water," a mineral-rich spring that has flowed through our village since ancient times. Enjoy the gentle far-infrared warmth of the wood-heated water while taking in the beautiful scenery.

Please note, the hot tub accommodates up to two people.

Important Note:
A fee of 4,000 yen will be charged for the initial firewood.
For safety reasons, usage is limited to 9:00 PM.
Campfires outside of this designated fire pit are strictly prohibited.
Please do not leave the fire pit unattended while in use.
There is a risk of unexpected accidents, such as embers or sparks igniting nearby flammable materials.
Refrain from using the fire pit on windy days.
